Spring and Hope - Newsletter

My way of Social Distancing

Spring brings hope of good things to come...

If you are like me, I am getting emails all day long about the coronavirus.  You may or may not be heavily affected at this time but even if you are not, it is oppressive and scary. If you are not feeling closed in upon, you may be soon.

Maybe you can't get out of your house or are even quarantined.  I am a believer that nature is healing.  Yes, ideally getting out in it, but even images of nature can bring a sense of peace, joy and even hope.  And to me spring is all about hope of great things to come

My social distancing has been getting out in nature.  We have been having spring showers all week so both wildflowers and the garden variety are beginning to really bloom.  This week, between rains, I have been able to get out and enjoy both. I wanted to share some of this so maybe it will help bring something good into your life at a time it might really be needed.

Spring Flowers around town

I am always excited when the crocus start appearing and the magnolias start blooming.  The crocus cover our local park early and then a little later I have been able to find them in the lawn of our historical Phelps House.  It is so fun to capture the water drops on them.

Love the Spring Wildflowers

I get really really excited when I start seeing spring wildflowers.  Above are the white  trout lilies and below is Yellow Trout Lily and Trillium

Join me in my Social Distancing!

I will continue to be out as often as possible.  I will be sharing my little journies to facebook  and instagram, and uploading new images to my website and writing in my blog.  I hope you will join me!
