I was able to photograph the coastal brown bears at Lake Clark National Park in Alaska. We had daylight 24 hours a day but we did get a golden hour as the sun moved behind the mountains. I loved being able to capture these sunbursts and if you look close there are about a dozen bears in view. We stayed at Bear Mountain lodge on Chinitna bay, and were able to go out several times to view bears in their natural environment. The evenings were wonderful and we stayed out this evening till after 11pm.
