WHAT IS MY BAG
I did alot of research on camera bags that would handle hiking - possibly over night and I settled on the Atlas Bags. I first bought the larger Adventure Bag - this is great when you need to bring extra gear not camera related and would work for overnight hiking. It was great for my Utah trip. I then decided I would like a smaller bag for day hikes and so I purchased the Athlete and am loving it.
Below is a list of my camera equipment
My Main Camera is a full-frame Canon EOS 5DS R . I am in love with this camera! I have had it for about 3 years and I am still blown away by the amount of detail I can get with it. It is a 50 Megapixel Camera
My 2nd camera body (and my Kayak camera) is an Canon 80D , a 24 megapixel crop sensor. It is perfect for a 2nd camera. It is known for its video capabilities also and I try to utilize that upon occasion.
Canon EF 24–105mm f/4L II USM Lens - This is my go to lens. I keep it on my camera body most the time.
Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM Ultra Wide Angle Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras - This is my wide angle lens.
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras - This is one of my favorites lens. I use it for macro. It is image stabalized so that helps with catching insects.
Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens Great Zoom lens. I also have the version I which I use when on the Kayak.
Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon EF
Sigma 15mm f/2.8 EX DG Diagonal Fisheye Lens for Canon SLR Cameras
Canon EF 2.0X III Telephoto Extender for Canon Super Telephoto Lenses - This is a great way to extend my 100-400mm lens. You lose auto focus so you learn to be good at manual focus on the fly.
